BICEP2 与 Keck Array 运行概览及观测现状

摘要

BICEP2 和 Keck Array 实验旨在测量角尺度为 2-4 度(l=50-100)的宇宙微波背景(CMB)偏振。该区域正是宇宙暴胀的特征预言——B 模信号预期达到峰值之处。BICEP2 于 2009 年底部署至南极,目前正处于其第三年的观测期,配备 500 个对偏振敏感的 150 GHz 探测器。Keck Array 于 2010 年底部署至南极,最初包含三个接收机,每个均与 BICEP2 类似;2011-12 年夏季又增加了两个接收机。本文概述了这两项实验,报告了在部署后优化中两者灵敏度取得的显著提升,并展示了来自 BICEP2 的 CMB 偏振初步图。
