摘要
我们给出了一个r次线性递推（模2^w）具有最大可能周期2^(w-1)·(2^r-1)的简单条件。由此可知，在伪随机数生成感兴趣的情形下，即由模2本原且次数r>2的三项式定义的3项线性递推，其周期是最大的。我们考虑了某些不产生最大周期的例外多项式的枚举，并列出了所有次数小于15的此类多项式。
