摘要

对于图族 $\mathcal{F}$ ，令 $ex(n,\mathcal{F})$ 表示在 $n$ 个顶点的图中不包含 $\mathcal{F}$ 中任一成员作为子图时的最大边数。极值图论中的一个长期问题要求确定函数 $ex(n,\{C_3,C_4\})$ 。本文给出具有任意顶点数且围长至少为五的稠密图的新构造，自 1976 年以来首次改进了 $ex(n,\{C_3,C_4\})$ 的下界。作为推论，这给出了对 Chung-Graham [3] 中一个问题否定的回答。
