大基数一致性强度层级中的非线性与无根基性

摘要
许多集合论学者指出一致性强度层级中的线性现象，即自然理论往往按一致性强度呈线性乃至良序排列。为何应是线性的？本文给出反例，即大基数一致性强度层级中自然的非线性与无根基性实例，其尽可能自然或近乎自然。我们给出对ZFC及大基数集合论多样的谨慎枚举，它们展现出一致性强度上的不可比性与无根基性，但我们认为仍是自然的。我们考量“自然”在线性现象中所扮演的哲学角色，并最终主张应抛弃空洞的自然性谈论，转而致力于精确刻画我们原先认为可取的数学与逻辑特征。
