摘要
本文综述了与米尔诺关于群增长难题相关的研究成果。我们讨论了多项式增长、指数增长但非一致指数增长的情形，但文章主体致力于研究介于多项式增长与指数增长之间的中间增长情形。文中探讨了若干相关主题（流形增长、 amenability、随机游走的渐近行为），并提出了若干未解决问题。
