摘要
我们给出研究 Sela 极限群的一个拓扑框架：极限群是紧标记群空间中自由群的极限。许多结果在这一设定下得到自然解释。已知极限群类与有限生成完全剩余自由群类重合。拓扑方法对完全剩余自由群、自由群的普适理论、超积和非标准自由群之间的关系给出了一些新的见解。
