我们给出 Horn 猜想的 Schubert 演算解释的几何证明,并说明饱和猜想如何由其推出。该几何证明给出了 Horn 猜想与饱和猜想的加强形式。我们还建立了非零特征下 Schubert 演算的横截性定理。2002年11月发布的版本中某些部分(关于由 Schubert 演算构造的显式不变量)已从本版本中移除。它们已单独发表于 IMRN 2004, no. 69, pages 3709--3721《GL(n)的不变量理论与Grassmann子的交理论》。
