作为约化对称性的 Liouville 理论中的对偶性

摘要
通过把 Liouville 理论视为一种类 WZW 理论的约化，其中 Cartan 场的势形式并非先验固定，来探究量子 Liouville 理论中发现的那颇为神秘的对偶对称性的起源。我们表明，在经典理论中共形不变性对势的形式不加限制，但经典约化的共形不变性要求其为指数函数。相反，量子理论要求即使在约化之前，势也须为两个指数项之和。这两个指数项的对偶性是 Liouville 对偶性的先导。沿类似思路也获得了量子 Liouville 理论中反射对称性的一种解释。
