受扰动的儿童YouTube：刻画与检测面向幼童的不当视频

摘要
YouTube上订阅量最高的频道中有大量以极低龄儿童为目标。数百个面向幼儿的频道提供无害、制作精良且具教育性的视频。不幸的是，针对该人群的不当内容同样常见。YouTube的算法推荐系统遗憾地会推荐不当内容，因为其中部分内容模仿或衍生自原本适宜的内容。考虑到对幼儿早期发展的风险，以及幼儿消费YouTube媒体趋势的上升，这是一个令人担忧的问题。本工作中，我们构建了一个能以84.3%准确率甄别YouTube上面向幼儿不当内容的分类器，并利用它开展首次大规模定量刻画，揭示幼童消费YouTube媒体所面临的部分风险。我们的分析显示，YouTube仍受此类扰人视频困扰，其当前部署的应对措施在及时检测方面收效甚微。令人警觉的是，利用我们的分类器表明，幼童从良性视频随机浏览平台时，不仅可能、而且极有可能遭遇扰人视频。
