CUORE-0 结果与 CUORE 实验展望

CUORE(地下稀有事件低温观测站)实验拥有 741 kg 的 TeO2 晶体,并在感兴趣区域具有 5 keV (0.2%) 的优异能量分辨率,旨在以前所未有的灵敏度搜索 130Te 的无中微子双贝塔衰变。CUORE 预计于 2015 年开始数据采集,目前正处于 LNGS 的高级建设阶段。CUORE projected 的无中微子双贝塔衰变半衰期灵敏度在五年运行时间内为 1.6E26 年 (1 sigma)(90% 置信水平下为 9.5E25 年),对应于 40-100 meV (50-130 meV) 范围内的有效 Majorana 质量上限。利用辅助测热探测器进一步抑制背景,可以提高 CUORE 的灵敏度以及测热探测器在全面分析中微子质量倒序层级方面的竞争力。CUORE-0 旨在测试并展示即将进行的 CUORE 实验的性能。它由单个 CUORE 塔组成(52 个 750 g 的 TeO2 测热辐射计,排列成 13 层结构),其材料和组装程序严格遵循 CUORE 规范。CUORE-0 本身就是一个独立的实验,预计在一年运行时间内达到对 130Te 无中微子双贝塔衰变半衰期约 3E24 年的灵敏度。我们展示了数据的更新,对应曝光量为 18.1 kg y。背景分析表明,CUORE 的性能目标已得到满足,而灵敏度目标也在可及范围内。
