CUORE 实验的新结果

摘要

用于稀有事件低温地下观测站(CUORE)是首个搜寻无中微子双贝塔(0νββ0\nu\beta\beta)衰变并达到吨级规模的低温实验。该探测器位于意大利格兰萨索国家实验室(Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso),由 988 个 TeO2_2 晶体组成阵列,排列为 19 个塔的紧凑圆柱结构。在 2016 年 8 月探测器建造完成后,CUORE 于 2017 年在约 10 mK 的基准温度下开始了首次物理数据采集运行。在 2018 年多次优化后,CUORE 目前处于稳定运行模式。2019 年,CUORE 发布了其搜寻 0νββ0\nu\beta\beta 的第二批结果,TeO2_2 暴露量为 372.5 kg\cdotyr,对 130^{130}Te 0νββ0\nu\beta\beta 衰变半衰期的 median 排除灵敏度为 1.710251.7\cdot 10^{25} yr。我们未发现 0νββ0\nu\beta\beta 衰变证据,并对 130^{130}Te 0νββ0\nu\beta\beta 衰变半衰期设定了 90\% 可信区间(credibility interval)贝叶斯下限 3.210253.2\cdot 10^{25} yr。本工作中,我们介绍了 CUORE 搜寻 0νββ0\nu\beta\beta 的当前状态,并回顾了探测器性能。最后,我们给出了 CUORE 本底模型以及 130^{130}Te 双中微子双贝塔(2νββ2\nu\beta\beta)衰变半衰期的测量更新。
