物质-反物质不对称性凸显了当前粒子物理理解的不足。无中微子双贝塔衰变()可能有助于解释这种不对称性,同时揭示中微子的马约拉纳性质。CUORE实验使用在毫开尔文温度下运行的吨级低温量热器搜索Te的。我们报告未发现的证据,并在超过2吨·年的TeO曝光量下,将半衰期下限设为年(90%置信区间)。为这一结果开发的工具和技术,以及近1000个探测器5年的稳定运行,为未来能够跨多种同位素搜索的下一代实验提供了关键基础设施。
