摘要
Brinde [Approximating fixed points of weak contractions using the Picard itration, Nonlinear Anal. Forum 9 (2004), 43-53] 引入了几乎压缩映射，并证明了此类映射的 Banach 压缩原理。本文旨在引入多值几乎 -压缩映射的概念，并给出这一类新映射的某些最佳逼近点结果。作为应用，获得了弱单值 -压缩映射的最佳逼近点与不动点结果。文中给出一个例子以支持所呈现的结果。还提供了对一类非线性微分方程的应用。
