摘要
我们获得了适用于未必可微视界的面积极定理的改进版本，结合近期关于生成元完备性的结果，使我们能够证明：在零能量条件下，每个紧生成的柯西视界都是平滑且紧致的。我们探讨了这一结果对时间机器、拓扑改变、黑洞和宇宙审查的影响。例如，研究表明，在任何存在源物质且满足稳定主导能量条件的非空时空中，无法形成紧柯西视界。
