我们证明了一个平均原理,其断言当扩散系数趋于无穷而通过膜的通量保持恒定时间,由半透膜分隔的区域上的扩散过程收敛。在极限下,每个区域中的点被合并为极限马尔可夫链的单一状态。极限链的强度与膜的渗透率成正比,与区域的大小成反比。从分析角度看,该极限是奇异摄动的一个例子,其中边界和传输条件起着关键作用。这一平均原理深受近期数学生物学信号通路模型的启发,这些模型在论文末尾讨论。
