2010年，Invent. Math.上Ershov和Jaikin-Zapirain证明了初等群的Kazhdan性质(T)。这篇综述性文章侧重于给出该结论的一种更简单的另证。与原始证明不同，我们的证明未给出Kazhdan常数的估计。它可被视为作者论文“Upgrading fixed points without bounded generation”(arXiv:1505.06728, 即将出版版本)中结果的一个具体例子。
