ACM bundles on a general quintic threefold

We give a partial positive answer to a conjecture of Tyurin (\cite {Tyu}). Indeed we prove that on a general quintic hypersurface of every arithmetically Cohen--Macaulay rank 2 vector bundle is infinitesimally rigid.
