利用BICEP观测的偏振银河弥漫辐射进行绝对偏振角定标

摘要

我们提出了一种利用BICEP银河观测对偏振计偏振角进行交叉定标的方法。BICEP是一个地面实验,使用由49对偏振敏感测辐射热计组成的阵列,从地理南极在100和150 GHz进行观测。BICEP偏振计的交叉偏振定标精度为+/-0.01,绝对偏振取向精度小于+/-0.7度。BICEP观测了银道面(赤经= 100度 ~ 270度,赤纬= -67度 ~ -48度)的温度和偏振。我们表明,100 GHz BICEP银河图的统计误差可将WMAP W波段的偏振角偏移约束在0.6度 +/- 1.4度。Planck或EPIC在100和150 GHz下偏振角交叉定标的预期1 sigma误差分别为1.3度和0.3度。我们还讨论了即将进行的BICEP2和Keck观测对BICEP银河场观测的预期改进。
