摘要

我们研究 $n$ 股辫群 $B_n$ 的一个新的表示。利用它，获得了 $B_n$ 中字问题的一个新的解法，该解法保留了 Garside-Thurston 解法的大部分优点，同时使某些计算改进成为可能。我们还给出了一个相关的共轭问题的解法，但就其复杂性而言的改进在撰写本文时尚不明确。
