我们引入了首个复 β 系综的随机矩阵模型。这些矩阵为三对角矩阵，可视为 Dumitriu 与 Edelman（J. Math. Phys., Vol. 43, 5830 (2002)）所发现的 Hermite β 系综的非厄米类比。该模型的主要特征是特征值联合概率密度函数（j.p.d.f.）中 Vandermonde 行列式的指数 β 可取 ℝ_+ 中的任意值。然而，当 β=2 时，该 j.p.d.f. 并不退化为 Ginibre 系综的 j.p.d.f.，而是包含一个表示为特征向量空间上多维积分的额外因子。
