层次双曲性的组合视角及其在映射类群商群上的应用

摘要
我们给出了一个简明的组合判据，通过群在双曲单纯复形上的作用，来判断一个群是否为层次双曲的。我们应用此判据证明，映射类群模去Dehn扭的大幂所得商群是层次双曲的（在亏格2情形甚至是相对双曲的）。在剩余有限性假设下，我们构造了映射类群的许多非初等双曲商群。利用这些商群，我们将Reid以及Bridson-Reid-Wilton关于映射类群有限商群的问题，归约到特定双曲群的剩余有限性。
