我们将星形展开的概念扩展为基于简单拟测地环路 Q 而非一个点。这提供了一种新的通用方法，可将任意凸多面体 P 的表面展开为一个简单的平面多边形：从 P 的所有顶点到 Q 的最短路径被切开，并且 Q 中除一段外的所有线段均被切开。
