泊松过程统计分析中背景误差的处理

摘要
本文提出了在泊松过程的统计分析中，用频率论方法考虑预期平均背景b的误差sigma_b的形式论。结果表明，如果sigma_b不比sqrt(b)小很多，则不能忽略该误差。由此产生的置信带比sigma_b=0时更大，导致信号事件均值μ的置信区间更大。
