摘要
NEXT-White (NEW) 装置设计在 fiducial volume 内承载15 bar 压力下5 kg氙气,目前是世界上最大的采用电致发光放大的高压氙气TPC。它也是NEXT-100探测器的1:2比例模型,后者计划于2019年开始在136Xe中搜寻 衰变。两台探测器均使用位于透明阴极后的光电倍增管平面测量事件能量。它们还可借助阳极后的硅光电倍增管平面在TPC致密气体中重建带电径迹轨迹。两探测器共用的精密气体系统可提供保证长电子寿命所需的高气体纯度。NEXT-White自2017年10月起在西班牙Canfranc Underground Laboratory (LSC)运行。本文描述该探测器及相关基础设施。
