NEXT 实验的现状与未来展望

摘要

NEXT 是一项致力于在氙中寻找无中微子双贝塔衰变的实验。该探测器是一个时间投影室 (TPC),容纳 100 kg 富集了 136^{136}Xe 同位素的高压氙气。它正在西班牙的 Canfranc 地下实验室 (Laboratorio Subterráneo de Canfranc) 建设中,并将于 2015 年开始运行。NEXT 探测器概念提供了优于 1% FWHM 的能量分辨率,以及可用于降低本底的拓扑信号。此外,NEXT 技术可扩展至吨级规模的实验。
