Polarbear CMB 实验的辐射热测量焦平面阵列

摘要

Polarbear 宇宙微波背景 (CMB) 偏振实验目前正在智利北部的阿塔卡马沙漠进行观测。它将刻画由 CMB 引力透镜效应产生的预期 B 模偏振,并搜寻暴胀引力波可能产生的 B 模信号。其 250 mK 焦平面探测器阵列由 1,274 个对偏振敏感的天线耦合辐射热测量计组成,每个都配有相应的光刻带通定义滤波器。每个探测器的平面天线结构通过接触式介电微透镜与望远镜的光学系统耦合,这种架构在当前的 CMB 实验中是独一无二的。我们介绍了该焦平面的初步表征结果。
