摘要

POLARBEAR-2(PB-2)是一个宇宙微波背景(CMB)偏振实验,将位于智利阿塔卡马高地,海拔 5200 m。其科学目标是测量来自原初引力波和弱引力透镜的 CMB 偏振信号。PB-2 旨在以 σ(r) < 0.01 的精度测量张量-标量比 r,并以 σ(Σmν) < 90 meV 的精度测量中微子质量之和 Σmν。为实现这些目标,PB-2 将在 95 GHz 和 150 GHz 频率上使用 7588 个过渡边传感器辐射计,在 250 mK 的基底温度下运行。科学观测将于 2017 年开始。
