摘要

我们研究了具有伴随Higgs场的SU(N)规范场论中的扭曲C周期边界条件。我们证明，对于偶数N，通过合适的扭曲，可以在破缺相中相对于残余U(1)规范群施加非零磁荷，从而创建一个't Hooft-Polyakov磁单极子。这使得使用格点蒙特卡洛模拟来研究这些单极子在量子理论中的性质成为可能。
