在最近的一篇论文中，M. Green 和 P. Griffiths 利用 R. Thomas 关于节点超曲面的工作，建立了 Hodge 猜想与某些奇异容许正规函数存在性之间的等价关系。受其工作启发，我们利用 M. Saito 的混合 Hodge 模研究正规函数，并证明了 Griffiths 和 Green 所考虑类型的奇点存在性与 Hodge 猜想等价。若干中间结果（包括针对 perverse sheaves 的弱 Lefschetz 定理的相对版本）具有独立意义。
