本文重新计算了一族已知的 $\pi$ 公式，重新审视了古老的 Archimedes 算法。由此识别出一个通用族方程以及三个用黄金比例 $\phi$ 表示 $\pi$ 的新简单公式，形式为无限嵌套平方根，具有一些增强圆与黄金比例之间联系的几何性质。应用相同准则，给出了第四个公式，该公式导向已知的 Dixon 化圆为方近似，从而提出了一种更简便的方法来解决该问题，即使用两边均与黄金比例 $\phi$ 成比例的矩形。
