空间分布网络的形状与效率

摘要
我们研究了用于分配或收集商品（如气体管道或铁路轨道）的空间网络。我们关注网络的成本——即所有边总长度——以及其效率——即点对点之间路径的直达性。通过对多个真实案例的数据进行分析，我们发现分配网络在这两个方面都近乎于最优。我们提出了两种网络生长模型，以解释这种情况可能的产生原因。
