摘要
受将双β衰变事件的子体离子引导至单离子传感器以实现钡标记的可能性的推动,NEXT 合作组正在开发一项 R&D 计划,以测试用于高压氙气中离子输运的射频(RF)地毯。这要求地毯在比以往报道更高的压力区间工作,意味着电极电压相应大于现有系统。由于预测高压氙的击穿强度高于低压氦(大多数现有 RF 地毯器件的工作介质),这种工作模式对当代 RF 地毯几何结构似乎是可行的。在本文中,我们首次给出了高压氙气在高压下及离子输运相关 RF 频率(10 MHz 量级)下的高压介电强度测量,以及高压氩气和氦气在小间隙尺寸下的新直流与射频介电强度测量。我们发现击穿电压与所关注气体、压力、电压、材料和几何结构下的稳定 RF 地毯运行相容。
