摘要
我们开发了一种射频(RF)离子漏斗技术,用于将离子从高压(10 bar)惰性气体环境中提取至真空( mbar)。我们进行了详细的模拟,并开发了一种原型装置,旨在高效地从 Xe 气体中提取 Ba 离子。利用该原型,我们首次实现了从高压氙气和氩气中提取离子。我们进行了系统研究并与模拟结果进行了比较。这一将质量与产生高压的气体相当的离子提取至真空的演示,可应用于氙气时间投影室(TPC)双贝塔衰变实验中的 Ba 标记,以及解决在重(m u)载气中回收微量电离元素这一普遍问题。
