摘要
我们报道了纯氙气以及氙-氦气体混合物在1-9 bar压力和50-300 V/cm电场强度下电子漂移速度和纵向扩散系数的新测量。在纯氙中,我们发现对于所有,漂移速度和扩散系数都与世界数据高度吻合。然而,在纯氙低处(低于TPC实验通常探测的约化场范围),发现纵向扩散系数大于理论预测值。在氙-氦气体混合物中,在稍大的处观察到类似效应。发现氙-氦混合物中的漂移速度在理论上能被很好预测。尽管发现氙-氦混合物中的纵向扩散大于预期,但基于所测纵向扩散系数的外推表明,使用氦添加剂来减小氙气中的横向扩散仍是一个有前景的方向。
