拉马努金的遗失笔记本包含许多在其给哈代最后一封信中未提及的mock theta函数及mock theta函数恒等式。例如，我们发现了四个十阶mock theta函数及其六个恒等式。这六个恒等式本身性质惊人，并由Choi首次证明。我们还在遗失笔记本中发现了八个六阶mock theta函数，但在它们的众多恒等式中，仅有类似于十阶的那些关系中的单一关系。利用Hickerson和Mortenson的Appell函数性质，我们发现并证明了三个六阶mock theta函数的新恒等式，其精神与六个十阶恒等式一致。我们还包含了另外十九个关于二阶、六阶和八阶mock theta函数各种组合的类十阶恒等式。
