摘要
本文探讨的问题是研发（R&D）投入是否影响小班制下的教育表现。通过合并从 PISA 研究和世界发展指标收集的两个数据集，并使用学习贝叶斯网络（Learning Bayesian Networks），我们证明了国家的研发投资与其教育表现（PISA 分数）之间存在统计因果关系。我们还证明研发对教育的影响是长期的，因为一个国家必须至少投资 10 年才能开始提升年幼学生的水平。
