四维N=4 SYM到二维球面的局域化与1/8 BPS Wilson圈

摘要
我们将四维球面上的四维N=4超Yang-Mills理论局域化到二维球面S^2上的二维约束Hitchin/Higgs-Yang-Mills（cHYM）理论。我们证明，四维N=4 SYM中S^2上某些1/8 BPS超对称Wilson圈的期望值由二维cHYM理论描述。我们进一步论证，cHYM理论中Wilson圈的期望值与“排除瞬子贡献的二维玻色Yang-Mills”的规则一致。因此，我们支持Drukker、Giombi、Ricci和Trancanelli最近关于四维N=4 SYM中S^2上1/8 BPS Wilson圈的猜想。
