IT外包决策因素：研究与实践中的案例研究

摘要
各种内外部因素对IT外包（ITO）决策的共同影响很少在单一研究中被考察。此外，对外部因素的研究稀缺，且尚无能够完全解释实践中ITO决策的全面理论。本文阐释了关键决策因素（内部和外部）如何影响一所大型澳大利亚大学的ITO决策。我们还测试了一个备受推崇的ITO决策描述性模型作为ITO决策理论基本基础的可行性。该模型未能完全解释我们案例组织中的ITO决策。我们提请研究者注意，需要更多探索外部因素，并澄清可能解释ITO决策理论与实践之间不一致的权变因素，并呼吁更多研究以开发“可实践”的ITO决策辅助工具。本文还讨论了实践启示。
