我们证明了可定向曲面上嵌入图的 ribbon graph 多项式不可约当且仅当该嵌入图既不是嵌入图的不交并也不是嵌入图的联图。这一结果类似于如下事实：图的 Tutte 多项式不可约当且仅当该图连通且不可分。
