摘要
科学政策正日益转向强调社会问题或重大挑战。因此，需要新的评估工具来帮助评估研究计划或组织的知识生产层面，以及研究议程与社会需求的契合表述。在本文中，我们针对肥胖这一具有巨大社会成本的新兴健康问题（重大挑战），对科学供给与社会需求进行了探索性研究。我们阐述了一种潜在方法，该方法利用主题建模来探索：(a) 如何借助科学出版物描述科学生产中现有的优先事项；(b) 如何将欧洲议会中提出问题记录用作映射社会需求话语的一个实例；(c) 两者之间的比较如何揭示社会关切与科学产出之间的（错）对齐。尽管这是一个技术练习，我们提出此类映射方法可有助于为资助机构的战略规划和评估提供信息。
