我们发展了 hereditary constitutive 模型的算子论表述，characterize optimal finite-rank internal-variable 近似的 optimal finite-rank internal-variable 近似，以 Kolmogorov -widths 的意义。证明了在松弛核的自然假设下，history operator 是紧致的，从而可接受 optimal low-rank 近似。 resulting reduced models 继承了热力学一致性、稳定性和可证明的逼近界限。分析澄清了 hereditary representations 与 internal-variable 理论之间的结构关系，并为计算力学中的 reduced-order modeling 提供了严格的基础。选取的数值示例展示了随秩和抽样的 optimal 收敛。
