作者研究了外微分算子 作用在 中光滑有界区域以及半空间 上的 -形式时的 Hodge 理论。新颖之处在于所使用的拓扑不是 拓扑而是 Sobolev 拓扑。与经典情形相比，这显著改变了问题。它产生了一类最初由 Višik 与 Eskin 以及 Boutet de Monvel 引入的边值问题。
