摘要
通过在 TRIUMF 的同位素分离与加速器(ISAC)设施上进行的直接 β 计数实验,高精度测定了超允许费米 β⁺ 发射体 ¹⁴O 的半衰期。结果为 (O) = 70619.2(76) ms,与先前 11 次测量得到的世界平均值一致,但精度更高。将本工作推得的 ¹⁴O 半衰期与该量先前最精确的测量相结合,使总体不确定度降低了近 2 倍。新的世界平均值为 (O) = 70619.6(63) ms,由 8 个自由度得到的约化 值为 0.87。
