摘要
1940年代，Graham Higman开创了整群环单位群中有限子群的研究。此后，该结构的许多迷人方面被发现。诸如同构问题与Zassenhaus猜想等重大问题已被解决，引出了许多新的挑战性问题。本综述中我们回顾经典与近期结果，勾勒方法并列出与当前研究前沿相关的问题。
