摘要

Erd\H{o}s 和 Gy\'arf\'as 于1994年提出猜想：每个最小度为3的图都有一个长度为2的幂的循环。在2022年，Gao 和 Shan (Graphs and Combinatorics) 证明了该猜想对 $P_8$ -free 图（即不包含任意8顶点路径的诱导子图）成立。在2024年，Hu 和 Shen (Discrete Mathematics) 改进了该结果，证明该猜想对 $P_{10}$ -free 图成立。借助计算机搜索，我们进一步证明该猜想对 $P_{13}$ -free 图也成立。
