Dwyer 滤子与 4-流形拓扑

摘要

据猜想，拓扑 4 维手术一般而言对自由基本群会失效。M. Freedman 与 P. Teichner 已证明：具有任意基本群的手术问题都存在解，只要它们在第二同调上的 Dwyer 滤子满足某条件。我们给出此结果的一个新的几何证明，并分析其与典范手术问题的关系。
