单层硼片中金属性能带的直接证据

摘要
对硼金属同素异形体的探索在过去几十年引起了极大关注，且近期理论工作预测单层硼中存在金属性。在此，我们在 Ag(111) 表面上合成了 β12 片单层硼，并利用角分辨光电子能谱证实了硼衍生的金属性能带的存在。费米面由一个位于 S 点的电子袋和一对靠近 X 点的空穴袋组成，这得到了第一性原理计算的支持。β12 片中的硼金属同素异形体为材料科学中的新颖物理与化学开辟了道路。
