失控的 COVID-19 检测:隐私、效能、管理失当与误解

摘要

COVID-19 检测作为有效筛查和识别病例的基石,在地方和国家层面仍是遏制疫情传播的关键干预工具。然而,疫情来袭与应对展开之迅速、对医疗基础设施的广泛冲击、公共卫生系统准备不足以及危机的复杂性,导致受检者极度困惑。隐私侵犯仍是一个关键担忧。受检者的用户体验仍然低下。用户摩擦影响用户行为并阻碍其参与检测项目。检测效能被高估。检测结果未被充分理解,导致不恰当的后续建议。在此,我们回顾当前 COVID-19 检测现状,指出四项关键挑战,并讨论未能应对这些挑战的后果。当前围绕检测与信息传播的基建高度侵犯隐私,且未利用可扩展的数字组件。本工作中,我们讨论使现有 COVID-19 检测生态复杂化的挑战,并强调改善用户检测体验与减少隐私侵犯的必要性。数字工具将在解决这些挑战中发挥关键作用。
