brainlife.io:一个支持神经科学研究的去中心化开源云平台

摘要

过去30年间,神经科学研究通过推进标准化与工具开发以支持严谨性和透明度而大幅扩展。随之而来的是数据流水线复杂性的增加,阻碍了全球研究界部分群体对FAIR(可发现、可访问、可互操作、可重用)数据分析的获取。brainlife.io的开发旨在减轻这些负担,并使现代神经科学研究在不同机构与职业层级间实现民主化。该平台利用社区软件与硬件基础设施,提供开源数据标准化、管理、可视化与处理,并简化数据流水线。brainlife.io自动追踪数千个数据对象的溯源历史,支持神经科学研究的简洁性、效率与透明度。本文描述并评估了brainlife.io的技术与数据服务在有效性、可靠性、可重复性、可复现性与科学效用方面的表现。利用来自4种模态与3200名参与者的数据,我们证明了brainlife.io的服务所产生的输出符合现代神经科学研究的最佳实践。
