分岔为篮球增添风味

摘要
我们报道了篮球这一受牛顿力学支配的单粒子系统中分岔的出现。投篮时，明显的控制参数是出手速度和出手角度。我们提议使用与给定出手参数相关的三维速度相空间体积来量化投篮难度。当投篮者距篮筐大于临界距离时，最大化相关相空间体积的最优出手角度随出手速度增加而发生分岔。因此，分岔使得精确控制出手速度变得非常重要。若去除空气阻力，分岔消失，相空间体积分布变得无弥散并缩小幅度。
